Most of my life, I’ve felt a little bit behind on the life milestone chart. My career is no exception.
At 28 years of age, I made an outrageous decision to leave a financially stable, well-respected job as a lawyer (complete with snazzy business suits) and become one of the oldest musical theatre students on record.
Despite atrocious tap dancing skills and thighs that would never cut it as a chorus girl, I loved performing and have been doing various forms of it ever since.
These days I like to think of myself as a bit of a dabbler. As well as performing, I have worked in publishing, television and advertising.
Whether it be acting, presenting, writing, working as a voice over artist or speaker, I am pretty open and candid about sharing the ongoing challenges of my experience. Having the confidence to make a change and follow my passion is not always easy and can be a struggle. In sharing my experiences, I always hope to entertain but also give others the confidence to follow their dreams cause life is too short to regret not giving it a crack!
Thanks for visiting and hope to you see you round!
